Wouldn't you just love to have been that dog, luxuriating at the feet of some of the hottest chicks of the day?
That piliferous mongrel was Elvis' dog and her name was Dixie. Elvis took her with him while on tour from 1961 - 1965. From 1966 until her death, she remained at Graceland.
This shot was taken in 1962 at the Tropicana in Vegas by one of Elvis' henchmen.
Incidentally, the woman in the lower left of the photo is Cyd Charisse. Cyd is from Texas.
